Girls & boys just love our ballet classes! All classes are structured, engaging, creative and tailored to each age group.
For the children the classes are magical and fun, something to look forward to every week. They love putting on their ballet clothes and absolutely adore their teachers and classmates.
Our class numbers are capped to ensure your child gets the attention they need. Preschool ballet classes have both a teacher and a assistant where the class size exceeds 6 students
Kinder Ballet
approx age group 3 - 5 yrs
Preschoolers learn the magic of dance through movement, music and storytelling.
Your child’s confidence will grow, their physical skills will develop. They will be encouraged to express themselves creatively and musically.
Students will learn basic ballet terminology and positions even at preschool level.
Preschool dancers do not take part in Tiny Ballet Dancer group exams.
Prep Ballet
approx age group 4 - 6 yrs
As the children grow physically and neurologically they are able to move with greater control and coordination.
Prep dancers are ready to learn further how to; move through space and express their emotions through movement.
Prep students take part in Tiny Ballet Dancer group exams conducted on the premises of West Pointe Ballet Academy. All dancers will receive an exam certificate and a report.
Pre-Primary Ballet
approx age group 5 - 7 yrs
RAD Syllabus
Pre-Primary classes take on more formal ballet class structure but still maintaining the philosophy of learning the magic of dance through movement, music and storytelling.
Students will further develop their physical stamina, creative expression and musicality.
Pre-Primary students take part in Tiny Ballet Dancer group exams conducted on the premises of West Pointe Ballet Academy. All dancers will receive an exam certificate and a report.
Primary Ballet
approx age group 6 -8yrs
RAD Syllabus
Primary students build on what they have learnt in previous years. Saturdays include ballet class & 30 min contemporary ballet class
Primary students take part in Tiny Ballet Dancer group exams conducted on the premises of West Pointe Ballet Academy. All dancers will receive an exam certificate and a report.
Primary students are readying themselves to go on the Graded RAD Ballet syllabus and examinations if they so desire.
